Secure your tickets here:

thething is a mini-conference that aims to bring all game developers in Stockholm together, to stand as a venue where you can meet other devs and make friends and connections, to allow each and every one of you to share your wisdom, your stories and burdens, and much more. We will be hosting a day full of lectures, roundtables, discussions, panels, mingles, and celebrations of games and their creators.

In order to support this inclusive space, we expect everyone who joins us to read and follow our Code of Conduct. the thing is friendly, cozy, relaxed and welcoming to any and every kindred soul who wants to make or already makes games in Stockholm!

Lunch is on us!

☕ 🧁 There will be water, tea and coffee available all day, along with Fika served throughout the sessions. Everyone who attends, regardless of ticket type, will also be provided lunch. We will try to make sure that the lunch is easy to take with you outside, so as to encourage folks to eat and socialize in a more covid-safe way. We will make sure to have primarily vegetarian and vegan options for food. 🌯🥬

Covid Precautions

We will be requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated (unless unable due to documented medical reasons), wear masks while indoors, and to take a rapid antigen test before entering the building. We will try to make sure all areas are well ventilated and we will try to avoid congestion in passageways. We will have hand sanitizer stationed throughout the event space. If you feel unsafe at any point during the conference, please let one of our volunteer staff know and we will do our best to remedy the situation.

We would like to thank all our sponsors for making this conference possible! Since we are a nonprofit organization, and all of us that organize this conference are only doing so in our free volunteer time - it is through the ticket sales and generous support from these Studios that we are able to book the meeting rooms, rent the equipment, and pay for food for everyone! Thank you!
